Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer Lead with over 5 years in the industry to join our Product Team. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Product and other cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain both desktop and web applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on AI-driven technology in a highly collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive desktop and web applications using modern full-stack technologies.

• Coding and Software Development: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Python, TypeScript, and other relevant languages. Perform code reviews, debugging, and optimization.

• Containerization & Packaging: Package applications using Docker for efficient deployment. Ensure proper handling of dependencies and licensing for various software packages.

• License Compliance: Familiarity with managing compliance requirements for open-source and third-party software.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-focused solutions.

• Project Ownership : Take full ownership of features or projects, from ideation and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and support.

• Technical Leadership : Lead by example by setting coding standards, mentoring junior engineers, and guiding the team toward technical excellence.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in full-stack development. Contribute ideas to enhance our development processes and product offerings.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack software development.

• Containerization: Experience with Docker and containerization best practices.

• License Management: Knowledge of licensing protocols and managing compliance for open-source and third-party software packages.

• Version Control: Strong experience with Git and collaborative development practices.

• Problem Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and a passion for innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Desktop Application Development: Experience with Electron or similar frameworks for desktop applications.

• Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
