Role overview

A senior engineering role building full-stack web applications for a connected vehicle ecosystem used across insurance, repair, parts, and mobility services. The work spans consumer-facing interfaces and platform services that link large networks of partners, with a focus on scalable, secure, and accessible software that supports everyday transportation experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate full-stack web applications with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and security.
• Deliver well-tested, maintainable features and enhancements in close collaboration with product managers and UX designers.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, driving the resolution of bugs and systemic issues.
• Contribute to architecture, API design, microservices, and system integrations for new and existing services.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship of other engineers.
• Participate in estimation, prioritization, and sprint planning aligned with established engineering processes.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience with Python or Node.js plus a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Next.js.
• Track record of designing and shipping scalable, high-performance applications with clean, maintainable code.
• Experience shaping system architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling decisions.
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and service integrations.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS, alongside SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Leadership mindset, sense of ownership, and clear communication within distributed teams.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
