General Motors is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end web applications. The role emphasizes hands-on coding across front-end and back-end, with experience in modern stacks and cloud platforms.

You will collaborate in a fast-paced environment, lead project efforts, and mentor junior developers while ensuring code quality and security. This hybrid role may require reporting to Austin, TX or Warren, MI facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ReactNative, and Angular.
• Strong back-end knowledge: Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Hibernate, JPA, SQL.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs and multiple data stores.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and observability tools.

Responsibilities
