Job summary

Abacus Technology is seeking a Software Developer to provide end-to-end software development, requirements analysis, software acquisition support, testing, and web development services for the NOAA Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO). This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities include evaluating requirements, designing and implementing solutions, and supporting NOAA web and database systems. Must be a US citizen and eligible for federal access.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET and databases.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate requirements and recommend software solutions via analyses.
• Analyze, document, and validate requirements for COTS, GOTS, and custom apps.
• Design, develop, install, test, deploy, and maintain systems and databases.
• Provide Tier 1–3 support for custom software and document procedures.
• Follow Agile development practices and IT policies.
