Job summary

Suralink, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer III for a full-time, remote-friendly role, with preference for the SLC area in UT. The engineer will contribute to a SaaS platform for accounting professionals, collaborating with product and QA to ship value and improve performance.

You should have strong NodeJS/Typescript/React experience, AWS serverless know‑how, and a customer-focused mindset. The role involves designing, implementing, and owning features across the stack, working with

Qualifications

Excellent team and communication skills and experience collaborating closely across engineering and product.
Experience in NodeJS, Typescript, React (or other framework) environments.
Experience working in AWS building serverless and managed services (Lambda, S3, SQS, etc).
Deep expertise in designing and implementing great software following best practices (Frontend, Backend, or Both).
Passionate about being close to the customers to better understand their pain points.
Experience with/understanding of various architectural styles (SOA, Microservices, Monoliths).
Expertise with various storage and caching technologies, scaling, and optimization.
Self‑driven and detail‑oriented with a passion for learning.
Team‑oriented and willing to help drive excellence up and down the stack and across the team.
SQL in general but MySQL, PostgreSQL are preferred.
Critical Thinking – ability to approach complex problems logically and systematically.
Analytical skills – proficiency in analyzing system requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
Attention to detail – ensure precision in code, designs, and implementations.
Team Collaboration – experience working and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Adaptability – ability to pivot quickly in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.

Work with a team of developers, testing engineers, and product managers to ship value to customers.
Work full‑stack, finding opportunities to deliver small, iterative pieces of value fast.
