Job summary

gaiia is hiring a Intermediate/Senior Full-Stack Software Developer - Platform. The role focuses on building a scalable, serverless cloud platform on AWS using TypeScript.

You will collaborate across squads to strengthen APIs, data pipelines, and DevOps practices while delivering high-availability systems in a fully remote environment. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cloud design, a product mindset, and experience with GraphQL/API design, data warehouses and ETL pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, deploying and maintaining high-availability cloud systems.
• Ability to navigate uncertainty and bring order to fuzzy challenges.
• Outgoing, collaborative mindset with stakeholders.
• Strong product mindset and user-focused thinking.
• Experience with public API design; GraphQL is a plus.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with data warehouses and ETL pipelines.
• Several personal projects demonstrating coding skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, proactivity and fast learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the Platform team's serverless microservices on AWS using TypeScript.
• Build internal libraries and DevOps guidelines for infrastructure ownership.
• Design and maintain robust public APIs and GraphQL interfaces for developers.
• Design and maintain data pipelines and platforms for internal and external users.
• Collaborate across squads and contribute to all gaiia product aspects.
• Improve availability, performance and security of cloud infrastructure.
