Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a software engineer to join the eFolioPlus development team in a hybrid work model. You will design, code, test, implement, and maintain data-driven, multi-tier applications using Angular, .NET, Oracle, and SQL Server in a production environment.

You will analyze requirements, lead tasks, propose new technologies, and collaborate across teams to deliver on time and within budget, with on-call responsibilities and occasional non-standard shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of design, development, and support of scalable data‑driven multi‑tier apps.
• Experience through the SDLC: definition, design, development, testing, implementation.
• Experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework is required.
• Front-end framework (Angular, React, Node.js) a plus.
• Cloud (AWS, Google, Azure) and CI/CD toolsets (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps) a plus.
• Familiarity with batch/job‑processing systems.
• Financial Services or regulatory environment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end defect investigation and resolution on live production systems.
• Assist junior engineers and QA/BA partners daily.
• Analyze requirements and identify interfaces between components and subsystems.
• Review system specifications and test results; document actions.
• Propose and adopt new technologies and methodologies to meet business needs.
• Remain current with developments and trends in areas of expertise.
