Job summary

Raymond James seeks a highly skilled Lead Full Stack Developer with deep Java and Angular expertise to drive the Annuities and Insurance applications forward. You will design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions across Java (Spring, Spring Boot) and Angular, guiding the team and collaborating with analysts, architects, and other developers.

The role requires independent ownership, strong problem-solving, and leadership to deliver enterprise-grade software with modern CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science is required.
• 10+ years hands-on Java experience (Java 8+), Spring, Spring Boot, REST, SOAP, and microservices.
• 5+ years leading Angular development in full-stack roles.
• Strong OO design, design patterns, and SQL/NoSQL knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Financial services or enterprise apps preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead developer for the Annuities and Insurance Applications, driving features.
• Design, develop, and implement full-stack solutions with Java and Angular.
• Work independently to analyze complex system requirements.
• Support and enhance document management within Java space.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and validation.
• Adhere to CI/CD, modular design, and secure coding standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements.
• Participate in production support rotations.
