Job summary

Harris Central Appraisal District seeks a Full Stack Developer to design, program and install new software solutions. The role includes developing documentation, consulting with departments on project status, and addressing technical issues from developers and end-users.

You will work with C#, ASP.NET and related technologies, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and supporting agile development practices in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience; experience in developing solutions based on the Microsoft .NET platform.
• Preferred: Experience Java, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ruby, Python and/or PHP, and SOA.

Responsibilities

• Takes increasing responsibility for managing projects with limited oversight and supervision.
• Partners with end-users, customers and solution architects in identifying software improvement opportunities.
• Works to clarify user requirements.
• Full Stack Developers will manage, design and architect new software solutions.
• Develops new or modifies existing software applications.
• Designs, builds, and maintains efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Tests and debugs various .NET applications.
• Migrates existing programs.
• Performs program design, coding, testing, development and documentation activities of multiple inter-related programs.
