Job summary

Harris County Public Health (HCPH) seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise cloud-based applications supporting county operations in a grant-funded role.

You will lead architectural decisions, work with C#, Angular, REST APIs in Azure, and mentor the development team while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions for public health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience developing and deploying enterprise applications, including cloud platforms and Microsoft Azure services.
• Knowledge of enterprise application architecture and Microsoft Azure cloud services; proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, Angular, REST APIs, SQL and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, configure and deploy enterprise SPAs using C#, Angular, REST APIs within Azure environments.
• Monitor, administer, and maintain Microsoft Azure application services and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement cloud best practices for security, scalability, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Lead project meetings with customers to gather business requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development team members.
• Support application lifecycle management, DevOps processes, and CI/CD.
