Job summary

Cadmus in the United States is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a multi-year Federal contract. You will build and maintain web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, and relational databases, contributing across the full software lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has strong Java/Spring and front-end skills, experience with Azure, containers, and DevOps practices, and will mentor peers while delivering reliable, scalable solutions for government and commercial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Java/Spring development experience.
• 3+ years of Angular/AngularJS development experience.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Java/Spring ecosystem and front-end tech.
• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience with RESTful services and JSON/XML.
• Experience with Maven and Git-based tooling.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full Agile software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java/Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive web applications with Angular/AngularJS, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Implement RESTful services and APIs using Spring Boot.
• Integrate front-end with back-end services and databases.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews.
• Create technical documentation and deployment guides.
• Support production deployment and issue resolution.
