Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and cloud-native technologies. You will collaborate with architects, product owners, and global delivery teams to build innovative digital solutions.

Responsibilities include hands-on coding, RESTful APIs, microservices, and performance tuning; experience with AWS/Azure/GCP; Docker/Kubernetes; Git/CI/CD; Agile delivery; and mentoring distributed

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in full-stack application development with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and React.js.
• Proven experience developing enterprise-scale applications using React.js, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing AI Chatbots, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, and integrating Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices, testing frameworks, code quality standards, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with the ability to independently analyze requirements and deliver solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including experience working with distributed teams.
• Experience mentoring developers and leading technical discussions.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams, providing technical guidance and supporting successful Agile project delivery.
