Job summary

Charles Schwab in Texas is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design, build, and deploy secure enterprise applications. You will lead end-to-end delivery, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product owners, architects, and UX teams in an Agile environment, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD, secure coding, and scalable services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering scalable Java applications and services.
• 8+ years front-end design and development using Angular or React.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years with Java web and service development using Java/Spring and Spring Boot.
• 6+ years developing Microservices and REST APIs with Kafka knowledge.
• 5+ years CI/CD using Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, or GitHub.
• 5+ years in an Agile Scrum team environment.
• 4+ years leading technical teams and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of features and services.
• Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and coach juniors.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and UX experts.
• Promote secure coding, automated testing, and CI/CD delivery.
• Leverage GenAI tools across the SDLC for efficiency.
