Sunfire Solutions is seeking talented Full-Stack Software Engineers with active TS/SCI clearance to design and implement web-based solutions for our clients. You will lead technical challenges, mentor juniors, and work with stakeholders to gather requirements in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

The role emphasizes independent work, effective communication, and delivering high-quality, scalable software across front-end and back-end technologies using modern frameworks and cloud services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Java, Groovy, Kotlin or other JVM languages.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular).
• Experience with microservices and Spring Boot/Dropwizard/Micronaut/Quarkus.
• Experience with REST, queues, SOAP, Websockets.
• Familiarity with Linux and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Code primarily and lead technical challenges with the team.
• Write clean, professional code and mentor others.
• Design technical solutions from broadly scoped requirements.
• Identify appropriate technologies/stacks to meet client needs.
• Streamline technical processes for automation/DevOps.
• Collaborate on system architecture, UI/UX and app design.
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues.
• Share technical knowledge with other developers.
