Job summary

Greenlight Financial Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack to join the Web Core team. You will help bring core product functionality to the web, lead technical strategy, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product and engineering teams to enable scalable, high-quality development.

This role reports to a Director, Engineering and offers flexible work arrangements including remote and in-office opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of software development experience with a track record of technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in React/Next.js/Remix.
• Strong experience building REST APIs and backend services with Node.js/TypeScript/Kotlin.
• Experience with modern build tools, testing, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of groundbreaking web experiences, translating mobile features to the web with world-class UX.
• Drive technical strategy, define engineering standards/best practices, mentor engineers, and establish the technical vision for the web platform.
• Manage technical debt, champion code quality, and lead architectural evolution.
• Design, modify, and develop backend services that power web products, ensuring systems scale and reliability.
