Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (PMTS) within the GTMA Trust team in San Francisco. You will own complex production issues, drive technical direction, and shape the observability and automation landscape across the billing/usage platform.

You will mentor engineers, lead cross-team collaboration with Data360 and partner teams, and advocate for scalable, reliable engineering practices while aligning with Salesforce's AI-driven product strategy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development with leadership
• Strong OOP knowledge with at least one OO language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python)
• Experience designing observability and monitoring strategies (New Relic, Splunk, Grafana)
• Proficiency in Node.js and web frameworks (Express, Nape, etc.)
• Web technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, Ajax
• Experience with SQL/PL-SQL and relational schema design at scale
• Experience designing automated testing strategies and frameworks (Java, JUnit, Selenium)
• Hands-on with agentic coding tools across the SDLC
• Strong communication, ability to align across teams and leadership
• Focus on customer experience and systemic fixes over firefighting
• Curiosity about systems and root-cause analysis of cross-system issues
• Mentor others and multiply team impact through automation

Responsibilities

• Own and drive resolution of complex production issues across provisioning, billing/usage pipelines, and data reconciliation
• Act as gatekeeper for high-risk production changes with rollback paths
• Set service-health direction through instrumentation, alerting, and dashboards
• Identify multi-quarter structural fixes and auto-detect-and-fix tooling
• Serve as technical anchor during major incidents and cross-team escalations
• Partner with product leadership to shape roadmap and design decisions
• Define and evolve development processes, culture, and code standards
• Lead adoption of AI-native engineering practices and agentic tooling
• Coach engineers on AI orchestration, automation, and reducing toil
• Present designs to senior audiences and ensure high-quality design reviews
