Salesforce is seeking a Software Engineer, Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) to design, build, automate, and operate reliable, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure and production platforms. You will collaborate with software engineers, infrastructure teams, security partners, and product teams to improve service availability and developer productivity.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with cloud-native technologies, automation, CI/CD, observability, and an AI-first approach

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years designing and building production software across full-stack or backend services.
• Strong programming across frontend, backend, APIs, data stores and distributed systems.
• Experience on AWS/Azure/GCP and running workloads in production.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, automate, and operate secure, reliable, and scalable cloud infrastructure and production platforms.
• Develop software, automation frameworks, scripts, APIs, and tooling in Python, Go, Java, or comparable languages.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code for repeatable provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines for build, test, deployment, and release processes.
• Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Kubernetes or similar platforms.
• Build observability through metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerts, and health checks.
• Diagnose production incidents and implement preventive improvements.
• Collaborate across software, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
