Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack to join a mission-driven SaaS technology company. You will build and own product features from design through production, shaping architecture and APIs, using Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.

You will leverage AI-assisted development tools and mentor peers while taking ownership of performance, scalability, and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally SaaS or web-based products.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-based application development.
• Experience owning software features from design through production.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and own new product features from initial design and development through testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
• Develop full-stack SaaS applications using Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Help shape technical design decisions, application architecture, APIs, and database structures.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and overall engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with a Principal Engineer to help establish and evolve modern, AI-driven engineering practices.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Take ownership of production performance, quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
