Job summary

Pb Consulting is seeking an experienced senior software engineer to develop full-stack applications using JavaScript, React, and Golang. You will design and optimize APIs and microservices, work with MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server, and Elasticsearch, and collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver reliable, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development with a 50/50 frontend/backend focus.
• Advanced JavaScript, preferably Vanilla JavaScript.
• Strong Golang development experience or ability to ramp up quickly.
• Experience with React.
• Strong SQL and relational database fundamentals.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar databases.
• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Strong experience with Microservices and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack applications using JavaScript, React, and Golang.
• Design, build, and optimize APIs, microservices, and integrations.
• Work with relational databases and search technologies, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Elasticsearch.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Support production releases, platform modernization, and technical debt reduction.
• Contribute technical recommendations and improvements to development processes and tooling.
