Job summary

CodeRoad Inc is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to anchor the delivery of scalable web and cloud-based systems. You will lead end-to-end feature development from modern frontend in React and Next.js to resilient AWS backends, focusing on reliability and fault tolerance in production deployments.

Collaborating within agile pods with product managers and engineers, you will design robust microservices, optimize PostgreSQL/MySQL schemas, and mentor others on system design while driving

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of professional experience in full-stack engineering delivering resilient, production-grade applications.
• Advanced React and Next.js experience using TypeScript, modern state management, and SSR/SSG patterns.
• Expert-level SQL with deep knowledge of schema design, indexing, execution plans, and query optimization in PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Proven track record in microservices architecture, distributed system trade-off analysis, and failure mitigation.
• Hands-on experience on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ownership mindset with the ability to drive features from discovery to deployment and communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale decoupled microservices architectures, evaluating trade-offs across data consistency, failure scenarios, and latency.
• Build modern SSR/SSG web interfaces using React and Next.js, with TypeScript to create reusable components and workflows.
• Optimize relational database schemas, indexing strategies, and deeply structured SQL queries for performance and data integrity.
• Anchor cloud-native backend development on AWS, establishing scalable integration patterns and reliable production monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and support high-availability production environments, driving root-cause analysis and scale improvements.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams to influence technical roadmaps, mentor engineers on system design, and own features end-to-end.
