Job summary

Bloomberg in New York is seeking a senior full-stack software engineer for the Functional Integration team. You will turn stakeholder requirements into scalable backend services using distributed systems and modern web UI tooling.

You will mentor peers, help hire and develop engineers, and participate in agile cadences across two-week sprints, with a focus on reliability and performance in a cloud-based environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with an object-oriented programming language such as C/C++, Python, or Java.
• Experience on Linux or UNIX operating systems.
• Experience with object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Strong data structures and algorithms knowledge.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
