Job summary

CirrusMD is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (React/TypeScript/Rails) to own high-value features and performance across patient and provider apps. You will work remotely anywhere in the United States, delivering scalable frontend and backend services inside a fast-moving, engineering-driven organization.

You'll lead API and UI delivery, collaborate across product, design, and engineering, and contribute to testing standards, deployment pipelines, and on-call reliability.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/CS/MIS or related field.
• 7+ years building and shipping scalable web apps across full stack.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and modern UI patterns focusing on performance.
• Strong backend experience designing clean APIs (GraphQL/REST) and data-fetching models.
• Proficient in SQL for PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on testing across layers (RSpec, RTL, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Ability to work independently and in Agile teams; strong communication.
• Willingness for on-call rotation and data security/privacy
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical vision and delivery of high-performance APIs and web experiences (Rails + React).
• Contribute to evolving software standards and engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver high-impact features.
• Fulfill all other duties as assigned.
