Hive Collective is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain AI-enabled legaltech SaaS products. You’ll own end-to-end features on a lean stack, applying AI in daily workflow while shipping reliable backend and frontend work.

The role emphasizes strong Python/Django and React capabilities, with GraphQL experience and a disciplined approach to unit testing. This fully remote position offers a high-ownership culture and engaging collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Fluency using AI coding agents as part of regular workflow
• Solid Python / Django experience
• Solid React experience
• GraphQL experience (Apollo Client and/or Relay)
• Disciplined with maintaining good unit test coverage

Responsibilities

• Design, build, ship, and support full-stack systems end to end with a backend lean
• Use AI as part of the regular development workflow—from research to implementation
• Ship new features while keeping existing systems healthy
• Collaborate with teammates on solutions spanning web tooling, data stores, backend platforms, and product AI capabilities
• Write scalable, reusable code maintainable by future engineers
• Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility and build automated tests into new work
