Job summary

Herd Security is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to shape the future of our platform. You will own core technical decisions, work across the stack from database design to frontend interfaces, and partner with leadership on product direction.

Join a multi-tenant, security-focused environment with integrations into Slack and Teams. You’ll impact architecture and help scale our platform while collaborating with a small, driven team in a fast-paced startup atmosphere.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in TypeScript and strict type-safe development practices.
Solid PostgreSQL experience including schema design and performance optimization.
Understanding of distributed systems concepts including queues and eventual consistency.
Experience building integrations with third-party APIs (OAuth, webhooks, rate limiting).
Ability to take ownership of features end-to-end and work independently.
Proven track record shipping features quickly in fast-paced environments.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude).

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain full-stack features from database to user interface.
Contribute to architectural decisions shaping the platform's long-term direction.
Develop and optimize integrations with third-party identity and communication platforms.
Collaborate on product strategy and prioritize the technical roadmap.
Ensure code quality, reliability, and performance at scale.
