LivePerson in New York, NY is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Development Engineer to join a core engineering team building the LivePerson Voice offering and integrating it with the LivePerson platform.

The role requires 8+ years of enterprise-class experience, Java and Spring Boot, RESTful microservices, cloud, Kubernetes, and strong collaboration. This fully remote role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a remote-first model.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building enterprise-class multi-tenant application platforms.
• 5+ years of experience in Java programming and Spring Boot-style frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience building distributed RESTful microservices.
• 3+ years of experience with Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, NoSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Postgres, Firestore.
• Strong object-oriented design and implementation, web protocols knowledge, and distributed systems architectures.
• Cloud software services development experience with scalability, performance and reliability.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in Kubernetes (GKE).
• Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Linux and Windows administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement business software and APIs.
• Work with Product Management to create delightful user experiences.
• Play a critical role in architecture, coding, testing, and deployment decisions.
• Produce engineering specs, delivery estimates, and implementations based on product requirements.
• Provide technical documentation for implemented solutions.
• Collaborate with peers on specs, code reviews, and testing.
• Write unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and coverage.
• Meet KPIs for engineering team and report weekly.
• Communicate with customers and partners to add business and engineering value.
• Participate in standups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
