Job summary

Talkspace is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale core applications powering the platform. You will work as a hands-on full‑stack engineer, collaborating with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver high‑quality solutions while shaping technical standards across the organization.

You will mentor junior engineers, own end‑to‑end features, and partner with cross‑functional teams to maintain a robust, scalable codebase in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Math.
• 5+ years of professional experience developing software.
• 5+ years of professional experience working in both React and Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Writes correct and consistent code for backend, frontend, and devops.
• Develops and maintains full‑stack web apps using React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.
• Designs, builds, and integrates APIs and backend services to support product functionality and system integrations.
• Mentors junior engineers via pairing, feedback, PR reviews, and 1:1s.
• Delivers complex products to QA that are fully developed and bug‑free.
