Job summary

Circle is seeking a seasoned full-stack engineer to evolve Circle Discover, Circle’s marketplace for finding and buying digital experiences. You’ll build polished experiences, including recommendations, listings, and seamless purchasing flows, while shaping how members discover value in communities at scale.

You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams, run experiments, and ship features in Next.js and Rails, prioritizing fast iteration and high quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a full-stack engineer on large-scale web apps.
• Frontend and backend proficiency, with strong frontend focus.
• Experience in fast-paced, distributed remote teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Build polished, high-converting purchasing experiences for discovering digital experiences and selling memberships, courses, and content at scale.
• Run A/B tests to validate changes that boost acquisition, retention, and conversions.
• Implement features in the Next.js frontend and Rails backend.
• Work on data pipelines and services driving search and recommendations.
• Proactively improve code quality, processes, and architecture.
• Collaborate with Circle leaders during feature design.
• Collaborate with designers to deliver a world-class user experience.
• Maintain bias for fast iteration without compromising quality.
