Job summary

CVector, based in New York City, seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve its core platform, including web apps, data pipelines, and industrial gateways. You will deliver robust, real-time visualizations and operational insights for demanding environments like power generation and chemical plants.

This role requires strong technical judgment, shipping-focused mindset, and ownership across the stack.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience building production software with Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience building modern web apps with front-end frameworks (React) and back-end services.
• Familiar with cloud infrastructure, databases, and real-time/event-driven systems.
• Experience with data visualization, dashboards, or complex UI state is a plus.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate in a remote-first team.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of real-time data visualization platform and AI-driven insights.
• Design, implement, and deploy features across full stack, from UI to services and data stores.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure reliability via automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in on-call rotations and improve observability.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise team quality and velocity.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites to observe real-world usage.
