Job summary

Clearwater Analytics is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to own projects end-to-end, from scoping to delivery, across Python and React, including the Glint SDK. You will work with AI agents like Claude Code to accelerate development while maintaining high quality and security standards.

You will collaborate across teams, implement automated testing, review code, and mentor colleagues to improve performance and reliability in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with React, TypeScript or JavaScript, and comfort working across the full stack.
• Deep knowledge of software methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end to end, from scoping and sequencing through to execution, rollout and delivery.
• Drive work forward with minimal oversight, coordinating with other teams to keep it on track.
• Design, build, deploy and maintain simple, well-structured, thoroughly tested code in Python and React, including the Glint SDK.
• Use AI agents such as Claude Code to speed up development, reviewing and taking ownership of all output to meet our quality standards.
• Implement automated testing at multiple levels, including unit, integration and end-to-end.
• Review code and mentor colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practice.
• Lead design and feature discussions, championing performance, scalability, reliability and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents promptly.
