Clearwater Analytics, based in New York, seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer to own end-to-end projects on the Risk & Performance Engineering team, delivering Python and React applications such as Trade Blotter, Beacon Quote and Risk Workstation.

You will drive design, build, test, and deployment across the stack, mentor teammates, and use AI agents like Claude Code to accelerate quality while maintaining safety and clarity. Remote-friendly with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with Python or React.
• Strong knowledge of full-stack development and software design patterns.
• Experience with AI-assisted tooling and delivering production-grade code.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end to end from scoping to delivery across the full stack.
• Design, build, test, and maintain Python and React applications.
• Mentor colleagues and lead design discussions on performance and security.
• Troubleshoot incidents and ensure reliable production systems.
