Qualifications

• Strong Python experience developing applications.
• React (preferably React 18) experience.
• Strong AWS cloud development experience.
• Full-stack scope across front-end, back-end, APIs, data and cloud.
• Experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks.
• Experience designing REST APIs, microservices or serverless apps.
• Experience with AWS ECS/EC2/Lambda/S3/Step Functions/CloudWatch/API Gateway.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational DBs.
• Experience building data-driven apps and data pipelines.
• Strong CI/CD, testing, security, observability and performance practices.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and support full-stack apps using Python, React and AWS.
• Build web apps and backend services for investment research and analytics.
• Develop Python-based APIs and services, mainly FastAPI.
• Build responsive front-end apps using React 18.
• Design, develop and support AWS-based cloud platforms and solutions.
• Participate in AWS architecture and app design for new solutions.
• Work with AWS services including ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, Step Functions, CloudWatch and API Gateway.
• Develop scalable APIs, microservices, serverless apps and data pipelines.
• Work with PostgreSQL and other data technologies for investment apps.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps/cloud deployment practices.
• Participate in POCs to evaluate new tech and architectures.
• Modernize existing apps and build new cloud-native solutions.
• Build secure, resilient, scalable and observable software.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, POs, business partners and investment pros.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in Agile environments.
• Communicate with internal users including portfolio managers and traders.
