We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Python Developer with strong React and AWS Cloud expertise to join a global quantitative research technology team. The role involves developing and supporting cloud-enabled signal generation, backtesting, data, and analytics platforms that support active, factor, and alternative investment strategies.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python development skills, hands-on AWS experience, front-end development expertise, and a passion for modern software engineering practices. You will collaborate with developers, business partners, and product owners in an Agile environment to build scalable, secure, and resilient investment technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python, React, and AWS services.
• Build and support cloud-based quantitative research, data analytics, and backtesting platforms.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines, optimized data architectures, and microservices.
• Develop proof of concepts (POCs) to validate architecture and platform design patterns.
• Deploy, monitor, and support AWS applications in production environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern DevOps practices.
• Build secure APIs, serverless applications, and cloud-native solutions.
• Ensure applications are observable, resilient, scalable, and secure.
• Collaborate with business partners and product owners to deliver technology solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and cloud adoption initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in Python software development and full-stack application development.
• Hands-on experience with React and web application development.
• Strong AWS Cloud experience, including services such as EC2, CloudWatch, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, and SageMaker.
• Experience with Python libraries and frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, Dash, Dask, Flask, and Boto3.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, S3, AWS Glue ETL, and data pipeline development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Ansible.
• Experience with API Gateway, secure API design, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with SNS, SQS, caching, and application orchestration.
• Experience building, deploying, and supporting cloud-hosted web applications.
• Strong understanding of Agile development and modern software engineering practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Amazon Athena and cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of authentication and session management, including Okta.
• Experience developing financial technology or quantitative research platforms.
• Understanding of the investment domain, particularly equities and capital markets.
• Experience supporting front-, middle-, and back-office investment systems.
