Fitch Ratings in New York is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Ratings Technology team. You will design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python and React, building scalable backend services and modern frontends.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product managers and stakeholders, architecture contributions, and the exploration of AI-powered capabilities to improve workflows and user experiences. Base pay signals for NY range 120k–150k USD.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.
• 8+ years of hands-on Python development experience with scalable backend services, APIs, data-driven apps.
• 5+ years of hands-on React experience in production environments.
• Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Solid understanding of OO design, data structures, algorithms, and scalable architectures.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and modern delivery practices.
• AI fluency with LLM APIs and responsible AI practices.
