Job summary

Ignite IT, LLC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support CBP with modern enterprise applications. You’ll work on secure, scalable cloud-native systems with Python/Java backends and Angular front-ends in an Agile team, delivering high-quality software for critical operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, architects, product owners, and stakeholders to design, build, and maintain modern solutions that improve enterprise systems and user experiences.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CBP Public Trust.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing within Linux containerized environments.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications for modernization and new development.
• Build scalable backend services using Python, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive UIs with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs in a microservices architecture.
• Work in Linux containerized environments and cloud deployments (AWS).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate across engineers, architects, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
