Job summary

IgniteAction, a joint venture between ActioNet and Ignite, seeks a seasoned Full Stack Developer to build and modernize software and database capabilities across legacy and new systems. You will join a collaborative, cross‑functional team and help shape product releases with a strong focus on quality and agile practices.

The role requires substantial experience in Java or Python, expertise in modern web frameworks, and hands-on work with microservices and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• US Citizen and able to obtain a federal public trust clearance.
• College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or related discipline; experience can substitute for degree.
• 7+ years of experience with Java or Python.
• 3+ years with modern Web frameworks (React.js, Vue, Angular).
• 3+ years with microservices (Kubernetes/ECS).
• Experience with Kafka.
• Experience migrating to cloud (AWS, Azure, Google).
• OODD and SOA expertise.
• Experience with Git and concurrent development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement custom software and database capabilities for legacy and modernized systems.
• Work as part of a product team with a do what it takes attitude.
• Provide improvements to the supported product(s).
• Participate in release and sprint planning, testing, and demonstrations.
• Support release planning with design and development of engineering guidelines.
• Analyze complex problems and create innovative scheduling, tech and tool solutions.
