Orum is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to own critical features end-to-end within our product platform. You will collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to deliver high-impact experiences using Node.js, TypeScript, React, Ruby, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, and FreeSWITCH.

The role centers on building scalable, real-time workflows with a strong emphasis on clean, maintainable code and mentorship within the Engineering team, located in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with an RDBMS using SQL.
• Deep appreciation for simple, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Responsibilities

• Own core product features, from discovery to release and iteration.
• Design and build scalable systems (70% backend, 30% frontend) for real-time, high-volume workflows.
• Collaborate with PMs, Designers, and Engineers to shape and deliver intuitive, performant experiences.
• Mentor teammates and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
• Help define and uphold coding standards to keep the codebase clean and scalable.
