Job summary

Cencora seeks a senior software engineer to lead full-stack development across multiple initiatives, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-performance solutions. You will shape approaches, design APIs, and align work with domain priorities.

The role requires 6+ years of software or systems engineering and a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred); cloud/certification experience is a plus. You will mentor engineers and drive improvements in CI/CD and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience required.
• Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or a related field required.
• Certification in cloud platforms, systems architecture, Agile, DevOps preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads advanced full-stack engineering methods, frameworks, and standards for end-to-end solutions across initiatives.
• Analyzes full-stack requirements and design decisions to shape solution approaches and assess delivery risk and performance.
• Communicates architectural options, API design, and database considerations to stakeholders and partners as needed.
• Guides delivery by coordinating work across teams with limited oversight and ensuring consistent execution.
• Improves engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, API standards, and operating methods to increase delivery efficiency.
• Mentors full-stack engineers, provides technical guidance, and strengthens code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Monitors outcomes and risks to identify issues and sustain progress across complex initiatives.
