Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a hands-on software engineer to own full-stack web applications that power critical experiences. You’ll work with React, Next.js, and TypeScript to design, build, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end integrations.

You’ll own architecture decisions, improve performance and accessibility, and mentor teammates while delivering robust, data-driven UI for internal and external audiences. This role is ideal for initiative-takers who care about quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping and maintaining production web applications with React and Next.js.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience using GenAI when writing code, tests, PR reviews, documentation, and more.
• Hands-on experience with full-stack web development: building front ends, integrating with back-end services and APIs.
• BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
