Mastercard is seeking a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer to design, build, and deliver Open Finance solutions powering our data products. You’ll work across the stack—from Java backend services to React frontends—collaborating with designers, product managers, and architects to turn ideas into scalable, secure software that meets Mastercard’s high standards.

You will contribute to Connect, the frontend component, driving innovative solutions in a world beyond cash.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering across backend and frontend.
• Strong backend with Core JAVA, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP.
• RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• JavaScript/Node.js security practices.
• Frontend in React with RxJS.
• SQL databases, PostgreSQL preferred.
• Docker and Kubernetes for containerized apps.
• OWASP security awareness and vulnerability management.
• Gitflow and peer code reviews.
• TDD/BDD for test-driven development.

Responsibilities

• Participate in team prioritization with Product/Business stakeholders.
• Estimate and own delivery tasks (design, dev, test, deployment).
• Automate build, operate, and run aspects of software.
• Drive code/design/process trade-offs within the team.
• Report status and manage risks for the primary application/service.
• Drive integration of services focusing on customer journey.
