Job summary

Genius is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build, maintain, and scale features across our platform. This hands-on role covers both frontend and backend work, collaborating with product and design to deliver high-quality products.

Based in Los Angeles, this onsite role requires 3–4 days per week at the Beverly Hills office (131 S. Rodeo Dr., Suite 375, Beverly Hills, CA 90212). Ideal candidates have 5+ years of production web experience and strong Ruby, React, and API design skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production web app experience.
• Experience with Ruby (preferred) or Python/Node.js/Django.
• Proficient in React or Rails and modern JS.
• Strong API design and database modeling skills.
• Experience with CI/CD and testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineers to build features that scale.
• Write clean, scalable, testable code for production systems.
• Lead architecture discussions and code reviews across teams.
• Own deployments to staging and production; participate in on-call rotation.
• Drive architectural improvements and internal documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical guidance.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve team efficiency.
