Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications and services for high-volume trading across Schwab’s digital ecosystem.

You will collaborate with product owners, designers, and agile teams to deliver scalable solutions, improve engineering practices, and leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance code quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience building enterprise web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/C# and SPA frameworks.
• Experience with Angular, StencilJS, HTML5, XML and modern frontend frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, OOD, and relational DB concepts.
• Experience with automated testing (Jest, NUnit).
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications and back-end services for trading platforms.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and architects to deliver scalable solutions.
• Improve engineering practices and accessibility standards.
