Job summary

Boys Town in Omaha, NE seeks a Sr Software Engineer (Full Stack) to design, develop, and support modern full stack web applications across front-end and back-end technologies. You will lead technical design, establish coding standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing digital experiences.

Expect hands-on work with React, Next.js, Node.js/.NET Core, REST/gRPC, SQL/NoSQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines in an on-site role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering with full-stack ownership.
• Experience delivering enterprise applications through the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience with headless content management systems and shell scripting.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable full-stack web applications.
• Establish coding standards, reviews, and documentation practices.
• Design and maintain relational and non-relational databases.
• Contribute to CI/CD strategy and automated testing.
• Build and maintain APIs; integrate third-party services and tooling.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; ensure security.
• Collaborate with UX/product stakeholders for accessible UX.
• Monitor production, resolve incidents, and drive root cause analysis.
