Job summary

Glorio Group is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications in Ohio. You will work across frontend and backend layers using React, Node.js, Java, or Python, with emphasis on robust APIs, databases, and secure design.

The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers, establishing best practices, and driving performance and reliability across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Several years of professional full stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework (React/Angular/Vue).
• Strong backend experience with Java, Python, Node.js, or C#.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and responsive design.
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git, testing, CI/CD, and modern workflows.
• Understanding of security, performance, and production troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications across frontend and backend.
• Build responsive UIs using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and engineers to translate requirements.
• Establish best practices: code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Identify and resolve performance issues and production bugs.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Deploy and operate applications on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Participate in architecture discussions on scalability and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
