Job summary

Deque Systems Inc. is seeking a passionate Senior Full-Stack Engineer to advance our Axe Monitor product and component libraries. You’ll drive backend architecture with Java/Spring Boot/SQL and collaborate on frontend with TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS.

We emphasize AI-driven coding, security reviews, and high-volume enterprise-grade scanning solutions. The role is fully remote with flexible hours, centered on US Eastern business hours, and requires 4+ years backend depth and 2+ years

Qualifications

• Backend architecture with Java/Spring Boot/SQL
• Frontend using TypeScript, Node.js, ReactJS
• AI-assisted coding with code review for security and accuracy
• Sufficient backend depth in Java and relational DBs (4+ years)
• Frontend experience with TypeScript, Node.js, ReactJS (2+ years)
• Active GitHub profile with inspectable code (Java samples preferred)
• Foundational web accessibility knowledge (WCAG, ARIA)
• Claude CCDV-F or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• US Eastern Anchor: own investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of production issues during US Eastern hours
• Backend core: build high-volume services, scanner engines, data pipelines, and SQL queries
• Frontend components: maintain and build accessible UI components and APIs
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery while reviewing AI-generated code for security and correctness
• Production troubleshooting and debugging across stacks independently
• Experience building complex software in large enterprise environments (finance, insurance, big tech, or scaled SaaS)
