Deque Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to advance the Axe Monitor product, with backend in Java/Spring Boot and frontend in TypeScript/React. You’ll contribute across the stack, optimize high-volume scanning, and ensure accessibility standards are met.

The role supports a fully remote team aligned to US Eastern business hours. Ideal candidates bring strong Java/Spring/Hibernate expertise, TypeScript/React skills, and a track record of enterprise-grade software development.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-stack engineering with strong backend depth in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and relational databases.
• 2+ years of frontend experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS.
• Proven ability to use AI tools with critical judgment to catch AI errors and edge cases.
• Ability to query databases, trace code, and resolve live production issues independently.
• Must be able to work 9 AM – 5 PM US Eastern hours.
• Experience in large enterprise environments (finance, insurance, big tech, or scaled SaaS).

Responsibilities

• US Eastern Anchor: Take ownership of investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving production customer issues during US Eastern business hours.
• Backend Core: Build high-volume services, scanner engines, data pipelines, and database queries using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL.
• Frontend Components: Maintain and build accessible UI components and APIs in TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS.
• Critical AI Engineering: Leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery while strictly reviewing AI-generated code for security, logic, and accuracy.
