Job summary

Deque Systems Inc is seeking a passionate Senior Full-Stack Engineer to contribute to the Axe Monitor product and component libraries. Frontend work centers on TypeScript and ReactJS, while the backend spans Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.

This role is fully remote with US Eastern business hours, requiring ownership of issues from backend to frontend, applying AI tools judiciously, and delivering high-volume scanning solutions for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Backend depth with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and relational databases.
• Frontend experience with TypeScript, Node.js and ReactJS.
• Proven ability to use AI tools while maintaining sound judgment.
• Experience debugging production issues independently.
• Ability to work 9 AM–5 PM US Eastern hours.
• Experience building software in large enterprise environments (finance, insurance, big tech, or scaled SaaS).
• Public GitHub profile with inspectable code (Java samples preferred).
• Basic web accessibility knowledge.

Responsibilities

• US Eastern Anchor: take ownership of investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving production customer issues during US Eastern business hours.
• Backend Core: build high-volume services, scanner engines, data pipelines, and database queries using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL.
• Frontend Components: maintain and build accessible UI components and APIs in TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS.
• Critical AI Engineering: leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery while reviewing AI-generated code for security, logic, and accuracy.
