Job summary

Deque Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to advance our Axe Monitor product and component libraries.

You will work primarily with TypeScript, ReactJS on the frontend and Java/Spring Boot on the backend, tackling high-volume scanning solutions. You’ll be the primary engineering anchor during US Eastern hours, driving backend architecture, debugging production issues, and contributing to AI-assisted code with rigorous review for security and correctness.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong backend depth in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and relational databases.
• 2+ years of experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS.
• Active GitHub profile with inspectable code (Java samples preferred).
• Basic web accessibility knowledge (WCAG/ARIA) and commitment to accessibility.

Responsibilities

• US Eastern business hours ownership: investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Build high-volume backend services, scanner engines, data pipelines, and SQL queries in Java/Spring Boot.
• Maintain and build accessible frontend UI components and APIs in TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery while reviewing AI-generated code for security and correctness.
• Collaborate in a large enterprise environment and contribute to scalable SaaS solutions.
