Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-stack engineering experience with backend depth in Java/Spring Boot/Hibernate and relational databases.
• Frontend experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS.
• Active GitHub profile with inspectable code (Java samples preferred).

Responsibilities

• US Eastern Anchor: own investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of production issues during US Eastern hours.
• Backend Core: build high-volume services, scanner engines, data pipelines, and SQL queries using Java/Spring Boot/Hibernate.
• Frontend Components: maintain and build accessible UI components and APIs in TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS.
• Critical AI Engineering: leverage AI tools while reviewing AI-generated code for security and correctness.
• Backend Depth: 4+ years of backend depth with Java/Spring Boot/Hibernate and relational databases.
• Frontend Skills: 2+ years of experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS.
• Skeptical AI Mastery: use AI tools with strong judgment to catch errors and edge cases.
• Production Troubleshooting: ability to query databases, trace code, and resolve live production issues independently.
• Experience building complex software in large enterprise environments (finance, insurance, big tech, or scaled SaaS).
• Basic web accessibility knowledge (WCAG/ARIA) and commitment to accessible code.
