Job summary

Deque Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to contribute to our Axe Monitor product and component libraries. The role focuses on frontend work with TypeScript and ReactJS, plus backend development in Java/Spring Boot/SQL.

You will operate as the primary engineering anchor during US Eastern business hours and work in a fully remote environment. You’ll drive backend architecture, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate across our distributed team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-stack engineering experience with backend depth in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and relational databases.
• Frontend requires 2+ years with TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS.
• Experience building complex software in large enterprise environments (finance, insurance, big tech, or scaled SaaS).
• Active GitHub profile with inspectable code (Java samples preferred).
• Basic web accessibility knowledge (WCAG, ARIA) and commitment to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving production customer issues during US Eastern business hours.
• Build high-volume services, scanner engines, data pipelines, and database queries using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL.
• Maintain and build accessible UI components and APIs in TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery while reviewing AI-generated code for security, logic, and accuracy.
• Demonstrate strong production troubleshooting skills to trace code and resolve live issues.
