BNY Mellon is seeking a senior full-stack engineer in Pittsburgh, PA, with remote work permitted within commuting distance. The role requires a 10-year track record in UI development, Java, Spring, and microservices, along with deep experience in Docker/Kubernetes and Jira.

The candidate will consult with business units, guide IT leadership, and ensure quality, scalable software through automated test suites and secure development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of progressive IT experience in related roles.
• 10 years with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI development.
• 10 years writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito.
• 10 years delivering software in Agile/Scrum environments.
• 10 years deploying Docker and Kubernetes in containerized setups.
• 10 years implementing Spring Batch batch processes.
• 10 years analyzing business needs and documenting in Jira.
• 10 years designing microservices with Java ecosystem (Spring Boot, Maven), REST, MongoDB, Oracle.

Responsabilités

• Consult with internal groups to deliver advanced application development support.
• Provide senior technical guidance to IT leadership and teams.
• Assess adherence to technology standards and practices.
• Write well-structured, testable, and efficient code.
• Design, analyze, and develop test cases and automation suites.
• Create flowcharts, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Maintain software reliability and keep applications current.
• Actively participate in code reviews.
• Integrate software components into fully functioning systems.
• Apply security and privacy principles throughout the lifecycle.
• Partner with internal groups to evaluate implementation options and requirements.
• Analyze information and recommend solutions to business issues.
• Advise IT management on emerging technologies and services.
• Help define corporate strategies for new technologies.
